Shrek
Rating: 7/10
Even if the movie is kind of funny, I have to say that some 'jokes' are just overdone... maybe that's just because I'm getting old, but I don't find particularly hilarious all the farting, and the belching. I'm not saying there's not good lessons in the movie, there is. It's just that it's not my cup of tea. In fact, Shrek creeps me out. I just didn't wanna know that he could eat disgusting things, and make candles out of his ear wax... just ewww! I did like the karaoké though... I'm weird that way.

That one, I've heard so much about it... Anyway, is it just me or there is excessif torso showing on Peter Miller's part (Nino), and none on Luke Kerby's part (Angelo)? Not that I don't like the show, 'cause Miller's a babe handsome. What quirked me a bit was the caricaturalness (is that a word?) of it, but it was also nice to have something lighthearted to watch for a change. The actors were wonderful though, it can't be easy to play some of those scenes, especially if the majority of them weren't even italians (and especially THE bedroom scene)... And since I saw the special features... Was Peter serious saying that Luke had beautiful eyes (well, he does)? It just seemed to me that that comment was out of nowhere, though I'm not sure he was joking... Or maybe that was wishful thinking =)

More reviews to come when I'll have actually seen the movies

I do know that those are old movies, but I've never gotten the chance to see them, so... Thanks, Yue!
